JR御岳駅の近くで蕎麦を食べる野望と共にスタートした登山でした。
とても気持ちのいい山道で気持ち良く歩く事が出来ました。
数カ所で地図に載ってない分岐があって、その殆どは尾根道か巻き道でどちらを通っても同じ所に辿り着きます。
気持ち良く歩きましたが、それでも気温が高く、体力は中々に消耗していた様です。
麻生山方面から歩いて、日の出山、つるつる温泉の分岐の所が見晴らしが良く、ベンチが日陰にあり、日の出山まで残り0.5kmの表記を見て、もう殆ど到着だし頂上は混んでいるかもしれないからここで休んじゃおうと小休止。
この”もう殆ど到着”と思ったのが甘かったらしく、最後の500mの上りで、認識と現実のギャップに苦しみました（笑）
日の出山頂上に到着後、御岳山へ。普通に歩いていたら、こんな所に街がある！（初めての御岳山でした。）と突然現れた文明社会と人の多さに困惑しつつ御嶽神社へ。
ここで、折角来たので参拝しましたが、頂上がどこなのかで困惑、奥の院へ向かう分岐手前で人と話して一緒に降ってルートを失い、戻ってからの奥の院、鍋割山となりました。
時間を結構ロスしていましたし、予備の水がリュックの中で水漏れしていたというハプニングも有り、ちょっとテンション低めで御岳山に戻ると行きの時に行列を作っていた蕎麦屋さんがまだ開いていて空いている事に気が付き、入店を決断、お蕎麦とアイスコーヒーを頂いて、ケーブルカーの駅に向かい終了。最初に狙っていたお蕎麦とは違うお店のお蕎麦でしたがとても美味しく頂きました。良い一日でした。

The initial motivation for this hike was that I wanted to taste Soba noodle offered at a restaurant served near JR Mitake station.
I started from JR Musashi-Itsukaichi station to the direction of Mt. Hinode. It seems like this pass has a long history. The pass was well maintained and it was very comfortable to walk. Sometimes, there were splits which confused me, but it lead me at the same point at the end.
Although it was a good hiking pass, it was a hot day. I tried to keep the tempo but it got difficult at the end. I had a short break at the point which is 500m before the top of Mt. Hinode. The spot has a good view with a bench in shadow. After this break, the ascent was harder than I expected..
The top of Mt. Hinode also had a great view. The spot was crowded by people.
I continued to Mt. Mitake. I got into a city at the area Mt. Mitake. I was surprised since it was a middle of mountain. It seems this area has a long history with this mountain and shrine. It spend some time in this Mt. Mitake area, I was not sure where the summit is, I visited the shrine, I chatted with a couple for cultural things and I needed some time to find a way for Okunoin. Anyway, I continued to Okunoin and Mt. Nabewari.
Before this hike, I bought a spare water bag since I need a lot of water. When i wanted to re-fill my water talk, I notice that the new bag had a leak and inside my rucksack was wet... there was some water left in the bag, so it was not a high risk situation, but I was a bit disappointed with the new bag. (next day, i visited the shop with a broken bag... let's see how they answer later..)
Normally, I go to a restaurant or spa after a hiking, but this time, I found a soba restaurant near Mitake shrine which looks good. I decided to enter the restaurant and enjoyed soba noodle and ice-coffee:)
In this original plan, I wanted to walk down to JR Mitake station. But I decided to stop at the cable car station.
I was a good hiking day.
