◯お勧めポイント
北摂＝大阪北部では、人気のお山の一つです。
１、山桜　
４月初めで、ふもとのソメイヨシノは3～4分咲きでしたが、山間の山桜の塊がそこここで、７～8分咲きになっており、コース全般に渡り、何ヶ所か楽しめました。

２、妙見の森ケーブル
2023/12に惜しくも廃止（ケーブルカー、リフト、広場全て）、駅と可愛い車両はそのまま残っており、写メスポットです。（公衆トイレあり）

３、台場クヌギ林
クヌギを1～2mで切断し、伸びてきた若枝を、茶道用の高級炭（池田炭）に加工する、台場クヌギ林があります。千利休も愛用したそうです。

４、標高600mのブナ林
西日本の最下限です。ブナとしては、かなり立派な大木で、ブナ森の会、という有志の方が手入れされています。

5、能勢妙見さん
上方落語や、坂田三吉の映画にも登場する、古くから庶民に愛されてる、山頂のお寺です。開運、芸能界、歌舞伎界、花柳界など篤い信仰があるそう。妙見菩薩が本尊で、北斗七星信仰の聖地とされてます。

６、能勢電鉄　妙見口駅（駅の外に公衆トイレあり）から登山口までは、里山の風景が広がります。駅前の「かめたに」では、飲食、テイクアウトのパン、お土産（猪肉類）、山バッジなどあり、１日千円の貸し駐車場もやってます。

７、上杉尾根コースを下ると、眺望が楽しめます^_^ GPSルートで、眺めの良いベンチや倒木のあるランチ処を見てください^_^

◯残念ポイント
１、妙見の森ケーブル廃止で、山腹の広場も閉鎖され、名水が汲めなくなりました（立ち入り禁止）
２、駐車場横の妙見山頂広場が立ち入り禁止になっておりました、今は、解除されてるのかな？　最適のランチ処だったので、気になります。

◯Recommended points
Hokusetsu = one of the popular mountains in northern Osaka.
1. Wild cherry blossoms
It was the beginning of April, and the Yoshino cherry trees at the foot of the mountain were in bloom for 30to 4 0 %, but the wild cherry trees in the mountains were in bloom for 70 to 80% here and there, and I was able to enjoy them in several places throughout the course.

2. Myoken no Mori Cable
Unfortunately, it was discontinued in December 2023 (all cable cars, lifts, and plazas), but the station and cute vehicles remain as they are, making it a great photo spot. (Public toilets available)

3. Daiba sawtooth oak forest
There is a Daiba sawtooth oak forest where sawtooth oak trees are cut into 1-2m lengths and the young branches that grow are processed into high-grade charcoal (Ikeda charcoal) for tea ceremonies. It is said that Sen no Rikyu also loved it.

4. Beech forest at an altitude of 600m
This is the lowest limit in western Japan. As a beech, it is quite a large tree, and is maintained by volunteers called the Beech Forest Association.

5. Nose Myoken_san
It is a mountaintop temple that has been loved by the common people since ancient times and has appeared in Kamigata Rakugo and movies by Sankiti Sakata. It is said that there is a deep belief in good luck, the entertainment world, the kabuki world, the Karyu world, etc. The main image is Myoken Bodhisattva, and it is considered a sacred place for worshiping the Big Dipper.

6. From Nose Electric Railway's Myokenguchi Station to the trailhead, the scenery of Satoyama spreads out. "Kametani" in front of the station has food and drinks, take-out bread, souvenirs (wild boar meat), mountain badges, etc., and also has a parking lot for rent for 1,000 yen a day.

7. You can enjoy the view when you go down the Uesugi ridge course ^_^

◯Unfortunate points
1. With the closure of the Myoken no Mori cable, the mountainside plaza was also closed, making it impossible to draw the famous water (no entry allowed)
2. The Mt. Myoken summit plaza next to the parking lot was prohibited from entering, but I wonder if it has been lifted now? I'm curious because it was the perfect place for lunch.
