This is the insect observation. I woke up at 5:20 a.m. and left the house at 5:50.
I went to Mt. Chausu Highland to catch male Oh-ruriboshi-yamma; Siberian hawkers, but it was quite a struggle and it took me over 3 hours to catch it. I climbed to the summit of the mountain once on the way.
This year, the population of male Gin-yamma; Emperor Dragonflies was vast, and this was the first time I could catch one above an altitude of 1,000 meters. There were also several male Oh-yama dragonflies; Large mountain dragonflies that I had never seen before.

昆虫観察です。朝5時20分に起きて、5時50分に家を出発しました。
オオルリボシヤンマ♂狙いで行きましたが、かなり苦戦し、捕獲迄に3時間以上掛かってしまいました。途中一度山巓迄登ってきました。
今年はギンヤンマの個体数が非常に多く、標高1,000m以上で初めて捕獲出来ました。
今迄見なかったオオヤマトンボ♂らしきも数匹居ました。
