The "road" to get up Dakeyama I took was overgrown in places.
No marker for Dakeyama I could find so getting up to the hotel counts for the Osaka 50 I guess.

Up this back way to Dakeyama and the Kanpo hotel at top.

From the Kampo hotel second floor, you can see the broken pump for the hot spring well. This is probably the top of the mountain also.

After a decent bath time to get sweaty again hiking to Shionomiya station.

The trail was there but you have to keep on walking along the road here.

Then you walk past the entrance to this park here.

There are 2 gates to pass as you cross through this park. The park (城山オレンヂ園) looks interesting and might head back with the family sometime. http://yamano-oyaji.com/

Crossing the bridge here I saw some kids swimming in the river. Why not jump in myself. It was hot enough.

Well it wasn't dirtier than the Colorado River under the interstate on the California/Arizona border. I 100% wouldn't drink this water, but it was good enough for a quick dip with the local school kids.

The station here has a vibe. This entire area has a vibe. Time to find a sento to wash the river water off. Haha!

WTF? My GPS says 28km but the GPX file comes out to 21km.
Figured it out. I must have set it by record by distance instead of record by time by mistake.
