I got hella lost. Don't go up the mountain where I did there has to be a better trail.

Getting up to the trailhead offered some great views.

Most of the trail was heavily forested, but when you got a view they were outstanding.

Here's where I made a big mistake. After getting out of that trail I went right when I should have gone left. Left had my goal written on it but it seemed wrong and the map I had showed a different trail.

So this was the entrance to the different trail but it wasn't really a trail.

And eventually I had to pick my path along inoshihi tracks and rarely used tracks for surveying. I wasn't lost but I didn't have a trail.

Finally I found the actual signed trail and got to this mountaintop viewpoint.

Tanjyo Shrine and Tanjyo Mountain were not too far away. It seems abandoned. Beautiful shrine nonetheless.

I hopped over a fence to wash my legs off in this river. Great place and right behind the bus stop.

Kinda gunky trail. Neat viewpoints. Try to go when it is not so wet an slippery. Don't make the mistake I did and follow the signs.
