2合目：登山口スタート！

松林を10分ほど登ると2.5合目。
いよいよ本格登山がスタート！🔥
最初は火山礫のザラザラ道。
⚠️️特に下りは滑りやすいので注意

30分ほどで5合目に到着！ここで初めて視界が開ける。
海と島々が見える絶景ポイント！📸

ひたすら登りの一本道😅💦

7合目で広葉樹のトンネルが終わり、一気に開けた景色にテンション爆上
東シナ海がどーん！島々がどーん！絶景ポイント！📸

開聞岳（別名「薩摩富士」） – 日本の百名山のひとつ 🏞️
📍 鹿児島県指宿市 | 標高: 924m | 活火山
まるで絵から飛び出してきたような円錐形の山！ 🎨
海に囲まれた開聞岳は、指宿のシンボル。独特な形が本当に特別！ 😍
登山道は4,668mのらせん状で道幅が狭く、岩場や階段を登る必要があります。頂上に到達すると、素晴らしい景色が広がっています！天気が良ければ、霧島や屋久島など、たくさんの景色を一度に楽しめる！ 💓✨
青空の下、朝から空気が澄みきっていて、くっきりと美しい円錐形の山が迎えてくれた。「薩摩富士」と呼ばれるのも納得の姿に、自然と気分も上がる！
序盤は樹林帯の中を進み、鳥のさえずりや木漏れ日に癒されながら、気持ちのよいスタート。道は整備されていて歩きやすい。5合目を過ぎると傾斜が増し、岩場も出てきて本格的な登山の雰囲気に。所々で海が見える景色にも励まされた。手足を使いながらの登りは大変だったけれど、どこか楽しかった。
山頂には10時ごろ到着。見渡す限り海が広がり、遠くには屋久島の姿も。360度の大パノラマに感動🥺涼しい風が吹き抜け、汗ばんだ体を心地よく冷ましてくれた。
そして、下山中にちょっと面白い出来事がありました。友達がすれ違った登山グループに突然「昨日の人たちだ！」と声をかけられたのだ。どうやら、前日に韓国岳で一緒になっていたグループだったよう。友達が「霧島！」と言うと、相手のオバ様がすかさず「そう！」と返していて、テンポが良すぎて笑ってしまった。正直、私たちは全く覚えていなかったのですが🤣、「今日も頑張ってくださ～い！」と返した。こんな偶然の出会いも、山ならではの楽しさだなと感じた。
下山は12時15分に無事終了。快晴の中、絶景とちょっとした面白い再会に、気持ちのいい山旅になった。開聞岳は高さこそ控えめだが、海と空に囲まれた特別な時間を味わえる、忘れられない山だった。

A cone-shaped mountain that looks like it came out of a painting! 🎨
Surrounded by the sea, Mount Kaimon is the symbol of Ibusuki. Its unique shape makes it truly special. 😍
The 4,668m spiral trail isn’t too difficult, though there are a few rocks and stairs to climb. Once you reach the top, the view is amazing! On a clear day, you can see Kirishima, Yakushima, and so much more all at once! 💓✨

Under a bright blue sky, the air was crisp and clear from the early morning, and the perfectly shaped, cone-like mountain stood before us. No wonder it's called the "Satsuma Fuji"?its beautiful form instantly lifted our spirits!
The trail began through a quiet forest, with birds singing and sunlight filtering through the trees?a refreshing and peaceful start. The path was well-maintained and easy to walk. After passing the 5th station, the slope became steeper, and rocky sections appeared, giving it more of a “real mountain” feel. From time to time, we caught glimpses of the ocean through the trees, which gave us a nice boost. Climbing with both hands and feet was tough, but somehow fun at the same time.
We reached the summit around 10:00 AM. A breathtaking 360° panorama opened up, with the sea stretching endlessly in every direction?and we could even see Yakushima in the distance. A cool breeze swept through, soothing our sweaty bodies, and I felt deeply moved by the view 🥺
Then something funny happened during our descent. One of my friends was suddenly greeted by another hiking group passing by: “Oh! From yesterday!” Apparently, we had run into them the day before while hiking Mt. Karakuni. My friend immediately replied, “Kirishima!” and the lady shot back with a cheerful “Yes!” It was such a quick, funny exchange. Honestly, none of us remembered them at all 🤣 but we smiled and said, “Good luck today too!” It was one of those quirky, random moments that only seem to happen in the mountains.
We made it back down safely by 12:15 PM. Between the perfect weather, the stunning views, and a surprising little reunion, it turned out to be a truly memorable hike. Kaimondake might not be a tall mountain, but surrounded by sea and sky, it offered a special experience I’ll never forget.

Un monte a forma di cono che sembra uscito da un dipinto! 🎨
Con il mare che lo circonda, il Monte Kaimon è il simbolo di Ibusuki. La sua forma unica lo rende davvero speciale. 😍
Il sentiero a spirale (4.668m) non è troppo difficile, anche se ci sono un po' di rocce e scale da salire. Ma quando arrivi in cima, la vista è incredibile! Se il tempo è bello, puoi vedere Kirishima, Yakushima e tanto altro tutto insieme! 💓✨
