I can watch the conifer such as this cedar in the forest zone of the foot of Mt.Tateyama. There is the broadleaf tree if I enter the top a little more and can enjoy the autumn colors in autumn.
The cable car which a freight train was connected to is only here in Japan.

If you go to Toyama or the Unazuki-Onsen area, please change Toyama-chiho-Tetsudo Railway.
The Hokuriku Shinkansen starts a business on March 14, 2015, and here Kanazawa is in confusion in a Tokyoite and foreigners as well as a person from Kansai.

A lot of mountains in Japan there is the famous mountain there are five in the. It is "Mt. Fuji (Shizuoka / Yamanashi)," "Mt. Tateyama (Toyama)," "Mt. Hakusan (Gifu / Ishikawa)", "Mt. Ontake (Gifu / Nagano)," "Mt.Daisen (Tottori) ". These are the "Japan's three mountains," "Japan four famous mountains" (Mt. Fuji and Mt. Tateyama duplicates). I climbed Mt. Hakusan, Mt. Ontake in 2013 and Mt.Daisen in 2014. 2015 was to go to Mt.Tateyama.
We left our house early in the morning, because there is no time to relax in the inn. And we arrived Tateyama Station parking lot in about 6 hours. Here we took lunch.
From here it enters a "Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route".
This, Murodo Tateyama from Tateyama-town, and via the Kurobe Dam, is a tourist route to exit to Shinano-Omachi (Nagano pref.). Here for the car off limits, moving means it will be bus or cable car.
Elevation of Tateyama Station 460m, from here take the cable car up to "Bijodaira" at an altitude of 973m, arrive to Murodo Tateyama of altitude 2433m in from there about 50 minutes by bus.
I was two nights at the hotel in the corner of the building of the Murodo. There is also the fact that hotels on the mountain, Rates were higher.
Murodo is 2,430m above sea level and is a base of the Tateyama mountain climbing. At first, for altitude adaptation, I walked around Murodo. Various alpine plants were in full glory around a walk way, and a blue sky and the contrast of the face of the mountain were good again and were splendid scenery.
We stayed at "the hotel in the best high place in Japan". This hotel was good other than the point where a bath was not a hot spring, and I stayed, and a feeling was good.
I climbed Tateyama on the second day. As I am called "the Northern Alps", some experience is necessary mountains, but do not have any problem if they go carefully. I do a prayer in the barren mountain with the triangulation point, and let's pray for security.
In the point, people strongly decrease from a barren mountain and become somewhat comfortable. I was frightened, but you want you to walk while enjoying scenery.
It was the trip for approximately 8 hours this time. After the return, we sweated and ate Western food and slept promptly.
The third day is return to Osaka, but decided to detour to Kanazawa. Since the first to return to the car, to Tateyama Station transit buses and cable car, and headed from there to Kanazawa in the Hokuriku Expressway.
In castle town Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture is also referred to as a Hyakumangoku Kaga in the Edo era, it is now the core city of the Hokuriku region. Do you know the "Kenrokuen"? When visiting in the winter Kenrokuen it has taste, there here in Kanazawa.
By recently opening of Hokuriku Shinkansen of March 14, 2015, it became easy to be visited from Tokyo not only Kansai.
Now, it's the reason that we came near to Kanazawa, but when saying honestly, even if I say that I came near to only the purpose which just eats the lunch, it isn't exaggerated. It's that we who meet (especially, Mr. sabakan) are very fond of only a feed.
Well, it's that Osaka and Tokyo are finer for a principle as a feed in particular than sightseeing (There is only an odd person already at a certain city in the Osaka north in particular, so, I have such strong tendency.)
After sightseeing in Kanazawa, we were back to Osaka.
The Japan Alps shows splendid scenery including Tateyama. Though you need carefully about mountain sickness, I want you to come by all means.
